Thunderbird Lodge Wine and Cheese Tour
Sip wine, beer and munch on artisan cheese, and charcuteries in the beautiful Thunderbird Gardens. The grounds feature numerous, interesting small buildings.
Explore the historic Thunderbird Lodge, lakeside grounds, gardens, and waterfalls while enjoying wine, beer, artisan cheese, and horse d'oeuvres. Join us on a Tuesday or Friday afternoon for a visit to George Whittell's Castle in the Sky! Your docent-led castle tour includes time at the estate soaking in the stunning panoramic Lake Tahoe views while sipping fine wine and savoring charcuteries and fresh fruit.
A portion of the fee is a charitable contribution to the non-profit Thunderbird Lake Tahoe. You will catch a shuttle to the Thunderbird Lodge Estate at the North Tahoe Nevada Welcome Center, 969 Tahoe Blvd., Incline Village, NV 89451. There is no parking at the Thunderbird Estate.
Please wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes and be prepared to stand or walk on uneven surfaces. No commercial photography or videography is allowed.
$125 per person. Ages 21+.
Times: Tuesday and Friday at 2pm
